UTA Texas Rangers World Series Digital Collection

The Texas Rangers’ 2023 season was a historic occasion in Arlington’s history. After being in Arlington for over 50 years, the Rangers won their first World Series, defeating the Tampa Bay Rays, the Baltimore Orioles, the Houston Astros, and the Arizona Diamondbacks to reach the pinnacle of the baseball world.

UTA Libraries Special Collections is collecting digital materials to add to its permanent archival collections to help document this historical moment for the benefit of future generations. Items of interest include digital photographs, videos, artwork, and more relating to the Rangers’ playoff games, community gatherings, and celebrations. These materials will be preserved and made accessible through the UTA Libraries Digital Archive.
