MSW Orientation: Start Your Journey with Confidence
Welcome to the Master of Social Work program! Virtual Orientation is your first step in building a strong foundation for success in graduate school. You’ll get important information about your degree plan, academic advising, practicum education, classroom expectations, and how to get involved in the School of Social Work community. Orientation is also a time for you to learn about the resources you will need to be successful.
Whether you're online or in person, the virtual MSW Orientation is designed to help you make a smooth and confident transition into graduate study. It introduces you to the academic, professional, and community expectations of the Master of Social Work program and ensures you are fully prepared to begin your journey.

MSW Orientation is virtual and can be accessed through a MS Teams link that is posted on the website and that we will also provide via email. Choose the date that works best for you.

After both sessions, we will be offering a virtual Group Academic Advising session for new students from 1 - 4pm.
