Project READY-IC is a federally-funded special education training program at the University of Texas at Arlington. READY-IC scholars are trained to be certified special educators.  Project READY-IC is open to students pursuing bachelor's or master's degrees in special education. READY-IC scholars will take courses alongside other students majoring in special education at UTA. In addition, READY-IC scholars will participate in several extracurricular professional development activities. 

Before completing this application, applicants should understand the program by reviewing the project website, talking to project faculty, and/or attending recruiting calls. Successful applicants will understand the program and have long-term goals that are aligned with the program.
